Health Days

In addition to offering training for pastors, the faith in love project also aims to draw a partner between health and faith communities with the objectives of:

  • Raising the profile of health related issues
  • Challenging misconceptions
  • Facilitating through education, training and practical implementation, the improvement of health outcomes within faith groups

What to Expect

Faith in Love hopes to run regular Health Days based in churches throughout Luton. There will be awareness workshops relating to many common health conditions including:

  • Diabetes
  • Mental Health
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Heart Attacks and Strokes

Attendees will also have the opportunity to have a health screening, and be checked for high blood pressure, diabetes, HIV, high cholesterol and other common health problems.

All services are provided free of charge and offer a fantastic opportunity to evaluate your health and make a change in the context of your faith and faith community.

Let’s make health a priority today, let’s start talking.

Our next events are Saturday 17th January and Saturday 21st February 2015. (Locations and times to be confirmed.)
